Glasdec is seeking a Screen Printer / Factory Hand to join our glassware decoration team in Preston, VIC.

This permanent role is open due to a valued team member relocating, and we are ready to hire immediately.

No extensive experience? No worries. We are most interested in attracting the right person and can train you on the job.

About Us Glasdec is a glassware sales and decorating business.

The business has been in operation for over 30 years and have a stable customer base servicing many of Victoria’s hospitality businesses.

We have recently acquired additional machinery and are setting ourselves up for future growth.

- Great Hours: Stable, daytime shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Plus potential for overtime in the busy periods from October to December.

Training using our existing screen printers and learn to use newer semi-automatic machinery recently purchased and soon to be commission.

Key Responsibilities
- Screen printing logos, designs and text onto drinking glassware.
- Assist with production tasks including ink mixing, screen preparation, and artwork for production.

- Ensuring accurate registration and consistent print quality.
- Checking finished products for defects and quality issues.
- Operation of a kiln to cure printed glassware.

- Maintain a clean, safe workspace to keep our busy production line moving smoothly.
- Meeting production schedules and deadlines.
- Perform factory duties such as stock handling, packing, and quality control.

- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
