Role Description The Scrum Master – Energy Market Projects is a full-time, in office role based in Brisbane, QLD. This position facilitates Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for energy market-related software projects. The role involves coaching cross-functional teams on Agile principles, refining and managing user stories and backlogs, and removing impediments to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality solutions.

The Scrum

Master collaborates closely with product owners, software developers, and stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies,



and support data-driven decision making. Additional responsibilities include monitoring team performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and organizational practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Agile and Scrum skills, including Sprint Planning and user story refinement.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development understanding to effectively support technical teams and translate requirements into deliverables.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify process improvements, and support data-informed decisions.
- Experience in energy markets, utilities, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Brisbane, QLD, and engage effectively with local and distributed teams.
