Summary

STACK is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused security and compliance professional to provide hands-on policy and process support to the Critical Operations team and customers across STACK campuses.

The Security and Compliance Manager is responsible for day-to-day data centre security operations across STACK campuses, supporting and executing security projects and programs, assuring audit compliance with STACK and client policies and procedures, and responding to security incidents and operational escalations when required.

This role directly supports STACK’s commitment to 100% uptime and a concierge-level customer service experience, ensuring risk is proactively managed, planned works are executed safely, and customer communications are clear, timely and professional.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Direct day-to-day contract guard operations and manage security incidents, escalations and emergency response across STACK campuses.
- Participate in the after-hours on-call roster, attend campuses when required and ensure reports, actions and notifications are completed promptly.
- Partner with client security teams and internal stakeholders to protect people, information, assets and Mission Critical Data Centre operations.
- Troubleshoot physical security systems, analyse performance and implement practical improvements.
- Support recurring compliance audits and reviews, including ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2 and PCI DSS.
- Develop and execute security policies, procedures, methodologies, training and management reporting.
- Oversee security construction and retrofit projects, including operational handover.
- Manage Security Services Providers against KPIs, SLAs and performance standards,



addressing underperformance and driving continual improvement.
- Coach team members and service-provider personnel while maintaining strong safety, risk-assessment and customer-service practices.

What You'll Bring

- 5-7 years’ security operations experience, including at least three years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience investigating incidents, preparing detailed reports and responding to after-hours security or operational escalations.
- Experience managing security service providers and creating performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of physical security platforms such as Gallagher, AMAG or Lenel, together with video-surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with compliance standards including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, plus solid Microsoft Office capability.
- The ability to analyse risk, make timely decisions, deliver presentations, train others and work independently with limited direction.
- Data Centre experience is valuable; comparable high-security experience from Defence, pharmaceutical manufacturing, aviation or energy may also be relevant.
- Security risk, PSPF, CPP, PSP, Certificate IV, Defence Security Officer, Security Adviser or Security Officer credentials are advantageous.
- The ability to attain and hold NV1 security clearance.
