Our CFO Advisory team acts as the complete finance function for growing businesses and listed companies — from daily bookkeeping through to board-level CFO advice, capital raisings and cross-border listings on the ASX and NASDAQ.

The role

You'll be the engine room of our client engagements — preparing management accounts, running month-end close, and turning numbers into reporting that clients actually use. You'll review work prepared by our offshore team, deal directly with clients day to day, and step up onto transaction work as you develop. It's a role with far more variety and client contact than a typical business services senior position.

What you'll do

- Prepare monthly management accounts, KPI dashboards and reporting packs for a portfolio of clients
- Run month-end close to a five-business-day timetable, including review of bookkeeping, payroll and reconciliations prepared offshore
- Build and maintain 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts, budgets and reforecasts




- Prepare statutory financial statements and support technical accounting analysis under IFRS
- Assist on transaction engagements — capital raises, acquisitions and listing preparation — as part of the wider team
- Be a first point of contact for clients on day-to-day finance questions

What we're looking for

- CA or CPA qualified (or in the final stages), with 3–6 years' experience in business services, audit or a commercial accounting role
- Solid month-end and management reporting experience; you know your way around a balance sheet reconciliation
- Hands-on with Xero and at least one of MYOB, QuickBooks or a mid-market ERP; strong Excel
- Organised across multiple clients and deadlines, with an eye for what looks wrong in a set of numbers
- Clear written and verbal communication — you'll be talking to clients, not just preparing files
