The Role

We’re looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to help us define what Production AI looks like.

This is not a role where you’ll simply receive tickets and write code. You’ll own the journey from experimentation to production — building AI agents that operate reliably at enterprise scale.

You’ll work directly with our CTO and CPO , have a strong voice in technical and product decisions, and play a key role in shaping the foundations of our AI platform.

What You’ll Do

- Build and ship production-grade AI agents using LLMs, RAG, tool calling and multi-step workflows.
- Own the AI development lifecycle — from experimentation and prototyping through to production.
- Design our approach to AI evaluation, testing and observability .
- Build meaningful evaluation datasets from real-world failures and integrate regression testing into CI.
- Instrument AI systems to understand traces, costs, failure modes and agent behaviour.
- Work closely with customers to understand real business problems and translate them into impactful product solutions.
- Partner directly with the CTO and CPO on technical direction and product strategy.
- Make pragmatic decisions in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.





What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of software engineering experience , including at least 2 years shipping AI systems to production.
- Robust experience building AI agents , not just integrating LLM APIs.
- Experience with RAG, tool/function calling, multi-step workflows and enterprise data.
- A strong understanding of AI evaluation and observability.
- Product-minded engineering approach — you care about customer outcomes, not just whether the code works.
- Strong ownership and a willingness to tackle problems outside a traditional .
- The confidence to challenge ideas, share your technical opinions and influence product direction.
- Comfort working in an environment where ambiguity, speed and iteration are part of the job.
