An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

This is a diverse engineering role that combines technical reporting, engineering assessments, project management and field-based engineering across a broad portfolio of infrastructure projects. Working alongside project delivery teams and clients, you'll coordinate engineering investigations, oversee technical inspections, prepare high-quality engineering reports and develop practical solutions that support the long-term management and performance of critical infrastructure.

As a senior member of the team, you'll also play an important role in mentoring junior engineers, managing multiple projects and helping shape the continued growth of the engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead engineering investigations, inspections and condition assessments across a range of infrastructure assets.
- Prepare and review high-quality technical reports, engineering assessments and asset condition recommendations.
- Provide technical support during construction and project delivery, including defect assessments and repair methodologies.




- Build and maintain solid client relationships through proactive communication and technical expertise.

About You

- Experience in infrastructure engineering, engineering investigations, asset management or condition assessments.
- Exceptional technical report writing and engineering assessment skills.
- Experience managing engineering projects from investigation through to delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to mentor junior engineers and lead project teams.
