Our client is a leading Australian alternative asset manager with a growing private credit platform and a strong track record across real assets and alternative investments. The private credit business is continuing to expand its institutional capital base, with a focus on large-scale lending opportunities and strategic partnerships with global institutional investors.

This is a newly created Senior Associate position within the institutional private credit investment team. The role will have broad exposure across the investment lifecycle, including origination, financial modelling, credit analysis, structuring, legal documentation, investment committee processes and transaction execution. The successful candidate will work across a range of large single-asset, portfolio and thematic opportunities, with a particular focus on large complex real estate credit transactions.





A key component of the role will be supporting the development and deployment of institutional capital through SMAs, co-investment arrangements and other strategic partnerships. This will provide exposure beyond traditional underwriting, with the opportunity to work closely with institutional investors, financing counterparties, borrowers and advisors.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years’ experience across private credit, leveraged finance, structured finance, institutional banking, real estate finance or investment banking. Robust experience in debt structuring and legal documentation in the context of real estate investments is highly sought after, alongside strong financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction execution skills.

Experience with distressed real estate debt or more complex structured real estate credit would also be highly beneficial.
