Senior Data Engineer – AWS

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS data engineering and cloud-based data platforms . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimising scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS data services.
- Build and support complex ETL/ELT workflows across enterprise data environments.
- Develop effective and optimised SQL queries , with hands-on experience in Amazon Redshift preferred.
- Work with large and complex datasets to ensure data quality, reliability, and availability .
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across data pipelines and identify underlying root causes .
- Perform performance tuning and optimisation of data processing workflows.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams .
- Independently investigate technical issues and drive solutions with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to data engineering standards, best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
