This is an exciting opportunity to join BAI Communications' NSW Public Safety team as a Senior Business Analyst, supporting the delivery and ongoing enhancement of technologies that help keep emergency services and communities connected.

Working across projects and business-as-usual operations, you'll partner with stakeholders,



technical teams and business leaders to translate complex requirements into explicit, practical solutions. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting ServiceNow and related platforms, and identifying opportunities to improve operational effectiveness across the business.

You'll also provide governance oversight of knowledge management practices across the business unit, ensuring operational and system knowledge remains organised, accessible, appropriately reviewed and aligned with contractual requirements.

This is a hands-on role offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to influence outcomes from concept through to delivery in a highly visible, mission-critical environment.

Australian Citizenship is essential as the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, validation and stakeholder engagement
- Support project delivery through scope definition, planning, risk identification, dependency management and change impact assessment
- Translate business requirements into actionable specifications for ServiceNow enhancements, process automation and technology initiatives




- Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities that enhance operational performance, efficiency and service quality
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to design future-state processes and business improvements
- Support CMDB governance, system integrations and platform change initiatives through impact analysis and business documentation
- Provide governance oversight of knowledge management frameworks, document lifecycle controls and review processes
- Promote documentation quality, audit readiness and compliance with established business standards, including ISO 9001 requirements
- Develop reporting, insights and recommendations that support informed business decision-making
- Collaborate with operational, technical and leadership teams to deliver strategic and operational outcomes

You are an experienced Business Analyst who has successfully delivered outcomes within complex technology or operational environments. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders, solving business problems and turning ideas into structured, measurable outcomes.

You'll bring experience across business analysis, process improvement and technology-enabled transformation, together with the confidence to engage effectively with operational, technical and executive stakeholders.

Your technical capability includes

- Significant experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement and solution definition
- Strong process mapping and business process improvement expertise
- Experience supporting ServiceNow environments, including platform enhancements, CMDB-related activities or automation initiatives
