FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading telecommunications client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities - Act as the absolute technical anchor between business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

- Create detailed Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM), transformation logic, and data lineage documentation.
- Deliver end-to-end data migrations, including impact assessments, migration rehearsals, and cutover validation.
- Construct comprehensive data dictionaries, business glossaries, and metadata repositories for data governance.
- Develop technical UML diagrams, including Use Case, Context, Data Flow, and Process Flow diagrams.
- Structure delivery into capabilities and epics, managing the Jira lifecycle through to development handover.
- Write highly detailed,



testable acceptance criteria and perform post-migration data reconciliation.

Key Skills & Experience - Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to write independent queries to profile data and analyse source systems.

- Deep technical understanding of dimensional modeling, including defining facts, dimensions, and measures.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale data platform initiatives or enterprise ERP/CRM overhauls.
- Hands-on experience investigating data anomalies and validating complex data integration streams.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, data lakes, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle BI.
- Advanced agile delivery experience with a background in managing requirements within the Atlassian suite.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation and improve workshop effectiveness. What's On Offer?
