About the role

As a Senior Case Worker within our Specialist Re-entry Services (SRS) Reintegration Team, you'll support people transitioning from prison back into the community, helping them achieve stability, connection and long-term independence.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference by working alongside individuals with complex needs, supporting successful reintegration and reducing barriers to community participation.

About the role

As a Senior Case Worker, you will provide intensive case management and support to people exiting one of the Perth or the Bunbury prison. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will assist clients to address barriers related to housing, health, employment, education, community connection and overall wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

- We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with vulnerable people facing complex barriers.
- Demonstrates strong case management and assessment skills.
- Has excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and report writing abilities.
- Can confidently manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
- Understands trauma-informed, client-centred and strengths-based practice.
- Is committed to social justice and supporting positive change for individuals and communities.

What we're looking for

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in case work, community services, or a related field within the social services sector
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff or team members
- Strong knowledge of social work principles, case management methodologies, and trauma-informed practice




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- Sound judgment, discretion, and the capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities effectively
- Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Knowledge of Western Australian legislative frameworks relevant to community services and welfare
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice, inclusion, and person-centred practice
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
