Credera is looking for a Senior Consultant (CDP) to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract in either Sydney or Melbourne.

The Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions across client engagements. They work closely with clients to understand data, marketing, and customer experience requirements, and help translate these into practical CDP configurations and use cases.

The role focuses on hands-on delivery, supporting the setup of data ingestion, audience creation, and activation use cases, while developing a robust understanding of how CDPs enable customer insight and engagement.

Job Duties

Client delivery and CDP implementation

- Support the implementation and configuration of CDP platforms to meet client requirements.
- Assist in setting up data ingestion, identity resolution rules, and audience segmentation.
- Configure use cases such as personalisation, activation, and reporting within the CDP.
- Validate data flows and ensure data quality across systems.

Data and audience enablement

- Work with client data to define audiences based on behavioural, transactional, and profile data.
- Support the creation and testing of audience logic and segmentation strategies.
- Assist in mapping data sources into the CDP and aligning them to business use cases.

Testing and optimisation

- Execute testing of CDP use cases, including event ingestion, profile unification, and audience qualification.
- Identify issues in data flow, segmentation, or activation and support resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CDP implementations and use cases.

Collaboration across teams

- Work with architects, data engineers, and marketing stakeholders to deliver CDP solutions.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into platform configurations.
- Support workshops and working sessions with client stakeholders.
- Capability development
- Build knowledge of CDP platforms, data models, and identity resolution approaches.
- Contribute to documentation, reusable assets,



and internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with developments in CDP technologies and customer data practices.

Qualifications

CDP Platform Knowledge

- Experience working with CDP or related data platforms (e.g. Tealium or other CDP platform).
- Understanding of customer data concepts including profiles, events, and segmentation.
- Familiarity with data structures, APIs, and integration concepts.
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating workshops to design journeys, lifecycle/scoring strategies, data architecture, and customer experience requirements.
- Strong collaborator across technical teams, delivery teams, and client stakeholders.

Education and experience

- Typically 2–5 years experience in Martech, data, or digital delivery roles.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing environments preferred.
- Exposure to customer data, analytics, or marketing technology projects.

Martech Platform Expertise

- Deep expertise in CDP platforms and customer data architecture.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, identity resolution, and data integration patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale CDP solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating workshops to design journeys, lifecycle/scoring strategies, data architecture, and customer experience requirements.
- Strong collaborator across technical teams, delivery teams, and client stakeholders.

Education and experience

- Significant experience (typically 6+ years) working with MarTech platforms or customer engagement technologies.
- Experience in consulting, digital delivery, or enterprise technology environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading architecture or technical design for complex implementations.
