Perth Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a friendly, organised, professional and experienced Dental/Medical Receptionist to join our busy practice in West Leederville.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. The successful applicant will work closely with our Senior Secretary and surgical team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

About the Role

Duties will include

- Greeting patients and providing a warm and professional first point of contact

- Managing incoming calls, emails and appointment enquiries

- Booking patient consultations and assisting with theatre scheduling

- Liaising with hospitals, specialists and allied health professionals

- Assisting with patient treatment coordination and surgical preparation

- Managing patient accounts, invoicing and Medicare claiming

- Daily administrative tasks including scanning, filing and correspondence





- Supporting the Senior Secretary with the day-to-day running of the practice

About You The successful applicant will have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Solid attention to detail and organisational ability
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment

- Professional presentation and a compassionate approach to patients

- Sound computer and typing skills

- Previous medical or dental reception experience is essential. Minimum 2 years

- Experience with Genie software advantageous, but not essential
