Details: Digital Canberra is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced senior finance leader for the role of Senior Director, Budget Management and Business Partnering.

The Senior Director is a member of the leadership team that provides high level specialist advice to the executive cohort on a diverse range of financial issues. The Senior Director assists in the delivery of a range of financial accountability functions within Digital Canberra including budget preparation (internal and external), financial reporting, financial planning and analysis and adherence to the Financial Management Act 1996.

The Senior Director is a critical position as it will be the direct liaison point with all senior stakeholders on all finance related matters and will liaise across the whole-of-government and with various external stakeholders to collaboratively improve financial management practices.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in an accounting/finance/economics discipline with experience in reporting,



budgeting, costings or audit will be highly advantageous.
- Membership and professional accreditation or progress thereto of a peak Australian accounting body, such as CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and Current Zealand (CA).

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2027 with a possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
