Due to the award of a major new project, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Brisbane team.
Working as part of the EPCM delivery team, you will play a key role in the design and execution of a large-scale mining project in South Australia, supporting the project through study, FEED and detailed design phases.
The Role
- Deliver electrical engineering solutions across the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, review and approve electrical design deliverables and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients and contractors.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and safety workshops.
- Support project planning, estimating and execution activities.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers within the project team.
About You
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer.
- 10+ years' experience within mining, minerals processing, energy or heavy industry.
- Experience delivering electrical engineering work on EPCM projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and engineering best practice.
- Experience with HV/LV power systems, switchgear, protection systems, earthing and electrical design.
- Exposure to control systems and instrumentation interfaces.
- Construction and commissioning experience highly regarded.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
