The Role

Based either in Sydney in our Artarmon office or our office in Morningside, Brisbane, you will be supporting operations across Australia's East Coast, the Senior HR Advisor will be the primary HR partner for operational leaders and employees, delivering practical, commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with leaders across multiple locations, this role requires a confident and experienced HR professional who can operate autonomously, build solid stakeholder relationships. Reporting to the Regional HR Solutions Lead in Perth, the successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter capable of managing HR matters independently while collaborating with a broader HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, including annual performance review cycles, performance management, talent development, workforce changes, and offboarding.
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, misconduct issues, and workplace conflict resolution.




- Partner with operational leaders to build leadership capability and improve people management practices.
- Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning activities.
- Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, employment contracts, and company policies to ensure compliance and effective decision-making.
- Identify HR risks and provide practical solutions that support both compliance and business outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with employees and managers across geographically dispersed operations.
- Support with benchmarking benefits and compensation ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Partner with managers to drive employee engagement and culture initiatives, whilst maintaining a consistent HR presence to ensure alignment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or engineering sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and performance management processes.
- Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, and HR best practice.
