Your Chance The Senior Manager Quality Control and Assurance provides strategic leadership for quality assurance, operational control and continuous improvement activities across Operations. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining quality frameworks, audit programs and assurance processes that strengthen consistency, reduce operational risk and support the integrity of the NSW land titles system. The role leads the identification, investigation and remediation of registration errors, provides insights and reporting to inform business improvement initiatives, and drives a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement across examination and registration functions.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead and develop teams responsible for amendments, quality assurance and operational control activities to build organisational capability and ensure the effective delivery of quality and assurance outcomes.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance, audit and control frameworks that support consistent decision-making, risk-based assessment and compliance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Oversee investigations, remediation activities and register corrections arising from examination,



registration and quality assurance activities to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the NSW land titles system.
- Lead risk-based quality assurance and audit programs across plans and dealings registration and support functions to identify errors, emerging risks, systemic issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse quality, audit, amendments and error data to identify systemic issues, emerging risks and decision-making inconsistencies and provide recommendations that strengthen quality outcomes and operational performance.
- Establish and maintain quality reporting frameworks and provide regular reporting and advice to senior leadership, regulators and governance forums on quality outcomes, risks, trends and improvement initiatives.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve examination quality, strengthen decision-making consistency, implement quality improvements and support the effective management of operational risks.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with regulators, risk and compliance functions and internal stakeholders to support assurance activities, regulatory reviews and audits, implementation of recommendations and continuous improvement outcomes.

About You To be successful in this role you will have:

- Proven leadership experience in a complex operational, service delivery, or regulated environment, with responsibility for quality assurance, audit, compliance, risk management, or continuous improvement functions.
- Experience developing and implementing quality assurance, audit, or control frameworks that strengthen compliance, improve operational performance,



and effectively manage risk.
- Demonstrated experience managing assurance, governance, or compliance programs, including monitoring, reporting, investigations, and remediation activities.
- A track record of leading organisational change, business improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation of new processes, systems, or technologies.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, audit, compliance, and risk management practices, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, policies, and contractual requirements.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using operational, audit, quality, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build effective relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Desirable but not essential:
- Experience or knowledge of the property, land registration, conveyancing, or related regulatory sector.
