At Sheridan, we're looking for a Senior Merchandise Manager to lead merchandise strategy, range architecture, category growth and trading performance across our retail business. Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, you'll bring together customer insights, commercial acumen and product expertise to deliver profitable growth while inspiring and developing a small, high-performing team.
This is a great prospect to influence the future direction of our categories, collaborate with cross-functional teams across design, planning, marketing and operations, and ensure we're delivering the right product, in the right place, at the right time.
What you'll be doing
Developing and executing category and merchandise strategies that support long-term growth
Leading seasonal reviews and translating insights into actionable plans
Building compelling assortments, ranging and quantification strategies across channels
Driving trading performance through analysis, stock optimisation and promotional planning
Partnering closely with Design, Planning, Marketing and Supply teams to bring product strategies to life
Leading and developing a team while championing a high-performance culture
Staying connected to customers, stores and market trends to identify new opportunities
What you'll bring
Strong buying or merchandising experience, ideally within homewares, lifestyle or retail
Proven ability to balance customer needs with commercial outcomes
Experience developing product strategies, assortments and category plans
Exceptional analytical, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others A collaborative mindset and a drive to continuously improve ways of working
