The Prospect

As a Senior Mortgage Broker, you will play a key role in helping clients navigate the lending process while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Working from our office, you'll manage a high-quality pipeline of new and existing clients, identify lending opportunities, and guide borrowers from application through to settlement and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients across residential and investment lending.
- Conduct detailed client discovery meetings and assess borrowing requirements.
- Structure lending solutions tailored to clients' financial goals and circumstances.
- Compare and recommend suitable products from a diverse panel of lenders.
- Prepare and submit loan applications while managing compliance requirements.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, conveyancers, accountants, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process.
- Proactively manage applications through to approval and settlement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying future lending opportunities.




- Generate new business through referrals, networking, and relationship development.
- Act as a trusted adviser, delivering exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
- Mentor and support junior team members

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Mortgage Broker, Lending Specialist, or similar finance role.
- Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to write and settle residential and investment home loans.
- Strong understanding of lender policies, servicing requirements, and loan structuring strategies.
- Experience across a range of lending scenarios, including owner-occupied, investment, refinance, construction, self-employed, trust and SMSF lending.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently generate and convert leads.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high compliance standards.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Proficiency across broker CRM and aggregator platforms.
- A results-driven mindset with a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
