Overview As a Senior Operational Analyst, you will apply operational experience and analytical methods to assess defence scenarios, evaluate capability concepts and inform product development. Working closely with Defence customers and engineering teams, you will help translate operational challenges into capability solutions.
Responsibilities Conduct operational analysis for defence scenarios, particularly air and missile defence and kinetic-effect applications.
Develop scenarios, threat representations and measures of effectiveness.
Support capability assessments, trade studies and modelling activities.
Work with software, systems and concepts engineers to interpret results and inform decisions.
Requirements Former ADF operator with experience in air and missile defence, joint fires,guided weapons or integrated effects.
Robust understanding of military operations, capability development and operational concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
Preferred
Qualifications/Experience Experience supporting Defence capability development, force design or experimentation activities.
Familiarity with modelling and simulation tools or operational analysis techniques.
- Experience working with Defence industry,
DSTG or Joint Capability organisations.
