Your new role

As the Senior People and Culture Officer, you will work closely with the People and Culture Manager to deliver high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle. This is a broad and varied role encompassing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, reporting, wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include

- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and induction activities
- Providing advice and support on employee relations matters
- Managing rehabilitation and return-to-work cases
- Supporting performance review and development processes
- Preparing HR reports, workforce data and compliance reporting
- Reviewing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
- Managing HR administration, contracts and employee records
- Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience in a senior HR, People and Culture or Human Resources role




- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Exposure to employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations
- Experience with rehabilitation and return-to-work case management
- Strong reporting, administration and organisational skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and HRIS skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach

Previous experience within education, schools or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded. What you'll get in return
