We are seeking a motivated and qualified Greenkeeper to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate turf professional looking to further their career within a progressive and supportive team that takes pride in maintaining one of the region's finest golf courses.

Reporting to the Course Superintendent, you will play an important role in maintaining the golf course to the highest standards while contributing to continuous course improvement projects.

/n

About the Role

/n

As a Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course, ensuring exceptional playing conditions for members and visitors.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Carry out all aspects of golf course maintenance, including mowing, course set-up, bunker preparation, irrigation, and turf management.

/n

- Assist with the maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, surrounds, gardens and landscaped areas.

/n

- Operate and maintain a variety of turf maintenance equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.

/n

- Undertake fertiliser,



chemical and pesticide applications in accordance with workplace procedures and legislative requirements.

/n

- Monitor turf health and assist with identifying weeds, pests, diseases and irrigation issues.

/n

- Assist with renovation works, construction projects and course improvement initiatives.

/n

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while complying with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

/n

- Work collaboratively within the Course Maintenance team to achieve daily operational objectives.

/n

- Contribute to delivering an exceptional golfing experience through outstanding course presentation.

About You

/n

You are a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking turf professional who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in producing high-quality playing surfaces.

/n

You will possess:

/n

/n

- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (minimum requirement).

/n

- Previous experience maintaining golf courses or sports turf facilities.

/n

- Sound knowledge of turf management practices, irrigation systems and golf course presentation.

/n

- Ability to safely operate turf maintenance machinery and equipment.

/n

- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.

/n

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

/n

- Good communication and organisational skills.

/n





- A proactive approach to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

/n

- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

/n

/n

- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (essential).

/n

- Current Chemical Accreditation (AQF3) or willingness to obtain (desirable).

/n

- Current White Card (desirable).

/n

- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).

/n

- Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.

/n

- Australian working rights.

/n/n
