Job Description

Our client, Australia's leed seed provider are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for their site located in Toowoomba.

- Monday to Friday Roster

/n

- 8am to 5pm

/n

- $50 per hour

/n

- No on call requirments

/n

- Casual on-going work with full-time hours

/n

- View to a perment position

/n

- Supportive, friendly and down to earth environment

About the Duties:

/n

/n

- Perform scheduled, preventative and reactive maintenance on seed processing and packaging equipment.

/n

- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete breakdown repairs

/n

- Maintain and repair conveyors, bearings, motors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers and other plant machinery.

/n

- Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged or unsafe components requiring repair or replacement.

/n

- Carry out fitting, fabrication, welding and minor equipment modifications as required.

/n

- Install, align and commission replacement parts,



machinery and mechanical components.

/n

- Assist with planned shutdowns, major servicing and plant improvement projects.

/n

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, parts used and completed repairs.

/n/n

About You:

/n

/n

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, or equivalent

/n

- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, agriculture, food production or a similar industrial workplace

/n

- Strong experience diagnosing mechanical faults and completing breakdown repairs

/n

- Experience maintaining conveyors, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, motors and production machinery

/n

- Sound knowledge of preventative maintenance and planned servicing procedures

/n

- Welding, fabrication and equipment modification experience.
