Role Overview

/n

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Domestic Assistant to join the Yore Care team, supporting residents. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, based out of the retirement village, Hilltop by Teman in Toowoomba.

/n

This is a varied role that combines supporting residents in their homes with assisting the wider village team, including time spent in the kitchen.

/n

You will help residents with domestic tasks such as cleaning and household support, while also being part of the broader village environment, assisting with food preparation and service when required.

/n

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys being around people.

Key Responsibilities

/n

Provide domestic support to residents in their homes, including cleaning, laundry and general household tasks

/n





Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in resident homes

/n

Support residents in a respectful and friendly manner

/n

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of village community spaces, including community centres, shared areas and amenities

/n

Assist with general cleaning duties across the village as required

/n

Assist in the kitchen as needed, supporting with food preparation, serving and basic kitchen tasks

/n

Assist with maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment

/n

Build positive relationships with residents and team members

/n

Work safely and follow all hygiene and safety requirements

/n

Experience and Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality or similar roles preferred

Experience working with older people is highly regarded but not essential

Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

/n

Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
