Hourly rate from $41.24 - $46.17 (based on experience) plus 12% Superannuation.

Willoughby Leisure Centre is preparing to open its newly redeveloped aquatic and leisure destination, and we're looking for passionate Learn to Swim Instructors to join our team.
/n
This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a modern, purpose-built aquatic facility featuring dedicated learn-to-swim pools, warm water program spaces and premium aquatic amenities.
/n
As a qualified Swim Teacher, you'll play a vital role in helping children and adults develop confidence, water safety awareness and essential swimming skills while creating positive and memorable experiences in the water.

About the Role
/n
As a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor, you will:
/n
Deliver swimming and water safety lessons to participants of varying ages and skill levels.
/n
Foster confidence, skill development and enjoyment in the water.
/n
Adapt your teaching style to meet individual learning needs.
/n
Monitor participant progression and provide feedback to swimmers and parents.
/n
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment at all times.
/n
Build robust relationships with participants, families and colleagues.
/n
Contribute to a professional and customer-focused Swim School culture.
/n
Participate in ongoing training and career development activities.
/n
What You'll Bring
/n
A current Australian Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification.
/n
Current CPR certification.
/n
A current Working with Children Check.
/n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
/n
The ability to engage and motivate swimmers of all ages and abilities.
/n
Strong organizational skills and attention to participant development.
/n
A genuine commitment to safety, quality teaching and continuous improvement.
/n
Experience teaching Learn to Swim programs or junior squads.
/n
Teacher of Infant & Preschool qualification.
/n
Teacher of Access & Inclusion qualification.
/n
Teacher of Adults qualification.
/n
First Aid certification.
/n
