About the Role
/n
Reporting to the Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef, you'll support day-to-day kitchen operations— preparing quality dishes, learning new techniques, and helping keep servicerunning like clockwork.
/n
Day to day you'll be:
/n
/n
- Preparing ingredients and mise en place to the standard set by our senior chefs
/n
- Cooking and plating dishes with consistency, colour, texture and flavour front of mind
/n
- Following recipes, portion sizes and qualitystandards under guidance
/n
- Learning new techniques, cuisines and menu items as you grow into the role
/n
- Keeping your section clean, organised andHACCP-compliant
/n
- Checking deliveries and rotating stock forfreshness and quality
/n
- Supporting your fellow chefs during busyservices
/n/n
What We're Looking For
/n
/n
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or currentlycompleting your apprenticeship), or equivalent experience
/n
- Some experience in a professional kitchen;high-volume experience a bonus
/n
- Food Handling Certificate preferred, with aworking knowledge of HACCP
/n
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality andlearning from the best
/n
- A team player who takes direction well andbrings a positive attitude
/n
- Flexibility to work varied shifts includingnights, weekends, and public holidays
/n/n
