Forklift Driver & Warehouse Worker (Day shift)

We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver & Warehouse Team Member to join our team at our brand-new facility in the Brisbane Markets precinct. This is a casual position working on our early start day shift starting around 2am and has the opportunity for the right person to become a permanent employee within our high performing team.

The purpose of the role is primarily Forklift duties, and Warehouse support to work with our teams providing consistently and with accuracy to safely support the business with all various warehouse tasks to be completed in a professional and timely manner. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

/n

Forklift driving, and all aligned duties including confined spaces

/n

Customer order preparation

/n

Ensure all stock is rotated and labelled correctly

/n

Ensure shed/benches/workspaces are clean and tidy (general housekeeping)

/n

Work proactively with warehouse team members

/n

Learn and grow with the business's requirements and needs

/n

May be required to assist with loading trucks accurately and efficiently

/n

Any other duties as required

/n

Immediate start

/n

All training will be provided

/n

Penalty rates on weekends and public holidays

/n

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to work with others, who can demonstrate the following attributes and experience:

/n





Forklift license a mandatory requirement with more than 12-months experience

/n

Previous warehouse experience is preferred

/n

Proficient reading, writing and language attributes and mathematical skills

/n

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

/n

Ability to follow directions unsupervised

/n

Physically fit, and ability to support the team Monday through Sunday

/n
