Full Time Fixed Term position

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Coordinator: Resi Care to join our team in Gladstone. Our Coordinator: Resi Care oversees the Residential program in Gladstone, providing leadership and direction for strong participant outcomes. The Coordinator manages a team ensure quality care and support for young people

What will a typical day look like?

- Ensure adequate and effective staffing and scheduling of support for young people within budget and roster guidelines, including proactive workforce management
- Support program staff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of young people’s needs based on an understanding of trauma, grief, loss, attachment and child development.
- Contribute to the improvement of services for the best outcomes for young people.
- Assist with the establishment and development of a strong and positive team environment to ensure excellent communication between team members.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Diploma or bachelor qualifications in Social Services/Child Protection or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination of supports for people with complex needs.

- A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.

Other Requirements:

- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
- Ability to pass a Child Safety and Personal History Check (LCS)
