Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. The Role

This is a hands-on, physical role where you’ll help set up and pack down event spaces for conferences, concerts, exhibitions and other events.

Your work will include moving furniture and equipment, setting up tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, seating and operable walls. You’ll also help keep equipment, storage areas and event spaces clean, organised and ready for the next event.

You’ll work closely with our event teams and venue hirers to make sure everything is set up safely and looks outstanding. You may also operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and elevated work platforms once trained and authorised.

This role involves regular lifting, pushing, pulling and moving furniture and equipment, and being on your feet for most of your shift.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Enjoys physical, hands-on work
- Is comfortable moving furniture and equipment
- Is reliable and works well in a team
- Has good attention to detail
- Follows safety procedures
- Is flexible to work across events, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Has previous experience in events, venues, warehousing or similar work (desirable, but not essential)
