2XM Recruit is partnering with an established and growing HVAC business specialising in air conditioning and ventilation solutions across residential and commercial customers.

We are looking for a motivated HVAC Sales Consultant to join the team and take ownership of incoming opportunities, build relationships with customers and convert enquiries into new business.
This role would suit someone with experience in HVAC, air conditioning, electrical, solar, plumbing, building services or a similar trade-based industry who understands how to move quickly on enquiries, qualify customer requirements and confidently close opportunities.

The Role

You will manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to sale, while also developing recent business and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Respond quickly to inbound enquiries and new sales opportunities
- Qualify customer requirements and identify the right solution
- Manage warm leads from initial contact through to close
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of residential and commercial opportunities
- Follow up quotations and outstanding opportunities to maximise conversion
- Develop new business through referrals, existing networks and proactive prospecting
- Schedule customer appointments and coordinate with the wider operational team
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Maintain accurate CRM records, follow-ups and sales activity
- Track pipeline, conversion rates and sales performance against targets
- Work closely with service, operations and management teams to ensure a smooth customer experience




- Identify opportunities to increase repeat and referral business

About YouWe are looking for someone who is commercially minded, responsive and comfortable taking ownership of the sales process.

Ideally, you will have:

- 1–2+ years of sales experience
- Previous experience within HVAC, air conditioning, electrical, solar, plumbing, mechanical services, construction or another trade-services environment
- Experience managing inbound or warm sales leads
- A strong understanding of speed-to-lead and consistent sales follow-up
- Experience converting customer enquiries into sales
- Confidence discussing solutions, pricing and quotations with customers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and organised approach to managing a sales pipeline
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
- Experience with both residential and commercial customers would be highly regarded

You don't necessarily need to be an HVAC technician. We are particularly interested in strong salespeople from adjacent industries who understand trade services, customer enquiries, quoting and closing.
