We're looking for an experienced BMS Service Technician to join a growing Melbourne-based building automation team. This is hands-on technical work combining service, fault-finding, and system optimisation across a diverse portfolio of commercial and critical environment sites. You won't just fix problems—you'll understand how systems should operate and improve them where they don't. You'll diagnose issues, refine control strategies, carry out upgrades, and deliver solutions that reduce energy use and improve reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve BMS and HVAC control issues across multiple sites
- Review, refine and optimise control strategies to improve plant performance and efficiency
- Carry out minor upgrades, system modifications and practical improvements
- Integrate mechanical plant via BACnet, Modbus and IP networks
- Provide remote support and on-site technical assistance
About you
- Minimum 3 years' experience in BMS / building automation
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Solid understanding of HVAC plant and mechanical systems
- Electrical, HVAC or relevant technical background
