As part of our team, you will apply your skills and knowledge in one of our divisional workshops, preparing and assembling specialised processing equipment for applications across food, dairy, wine, and a wide range of other industrial sectors.
About the position:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our tight-knit Production team. In this role, you will contribute to a streamlined workflow, managing tasks from receiving parts and equipment assembly, through to final packing and dispatch.
Your key tasks would include:
- Perform mechanical component quality checks, mechanical assembly, and packing of equipment or spare parts.
- Inspect incoming goods against specifications and standards.
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods.
- Work with production to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Complete all required documentation and electronic records accurately.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Mechanical trade qualification with proven fitting/assembly experience.
- Proficient in English and able to interpret engineering drawings/specs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Excellent time management.
- Team-oriented, proactive, have a can-do attitude and positive.
- Computer literate; quick to learn new systems.
- Current forklift licence
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
