John Davies & Co Solicitors is seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment delivering exceptional client service.

About the Role

You will work closely with our solicitors and conveyancing team, managing residential and commercial property transactions from contract to settlement. You will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, preparing documentation, coordinating settlements and ensuring matters progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing conveyancing files for residential and commercial sales and purchases

- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, brokers, banks and other law firms

- Preparing conveyancing documents and correspondence

- Conducting property searches and due diligence enquiries

- Managing PEXA workspaces and settlement preparation

- Preparing settlement statements and calculating adjustments

- Monitoring contract conditions and critical dates





- Maintaining accurate records within Smokeball

- Assisting solicitors with file management and general property matters

- Providing a high standard of client service throughout each transaction

About You

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous conveyancing or property law experience

- Strong organisation and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience using PEXA (highly desirable)

- Experience using legal practice management software such as Smokeball (desirable)

- Ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- A professional and client-focused approach
