About the role:
Our client is seeking a candidate to manage and develop Oil Company and Automotive dealership accounts in Victoria and Tasmania. Increasing market share and company profile in the areas of the business whilst working closely with Management. You will be a Sales Professional who has a strong knowledge of the Automotive Industry and Oil Company market and can successfully expand their brand in sales and have a proven track record in increasing Sales and clientele along with a technical background and a working knowledge of workshop equipment, i.e. vehicle hoists and wheel service equipment, would be highly regarded. Regular sales trips to regional Victoria and Tasmania, managing a call cycle around events and activities.
The Candidate will need to be Melbourne based.
About the Products:
National Oil Company Accounts - Working closely with Oil Company sales team providing technical advice and quotations and workshop solutions.
Automotive Distributors - Updating clients with new product information, catalogue and merchandising materials regularly and attending Trade shows and events.
Automotive Dealerships - Maintaining and development working relationships with all major OEM Automotive Dealerships whilst increasing the service business.
Skills and attributes:
Have a minimum 5+ years successful and proven sales experience in the automotive/oil industry markets.
Possess excellent quotation and negotiation skills with the ability to formulate and implement winning and workable business plan.
Time management and Teamwork is an key part of success in this role with CRM experience.
A Mechanical Trade or Engineering Degree would be highly regarded.
