RSGx is currently seeking experienced Australian qualified Boilermaker Welders to join our team on a major industrial construction project.
Our scope of works includes construction and installation activities across a large-scale industrial processing plant, with a strong focus on structural fabrication, welding and installation.
What’s on offer with RSGx:
- Total hourly rate of $57PH + Super + Overtime penalty rates (time and a half and double time apply to base rate)
- 10 hrs paid per day
- 20:8 roster

Mandatory Requirements
- Trade qualified – Boilermaker / Fabrication or Australian recognised trade certificate
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- HRWL – EWP
- White card
- Valid Drivers licence
- Previous FIFO and major construction experience
- Ability to successfully complete weld testing in SMAW and FCAW – 3G and 4G. Testing will be done before going to site.
- Ability to pass the standard pre-employment medical and random regular drug and alcohol testing before mobilising and on site.

The Role
As an Australian trade qualified Boilermaker Welder, you will be responsible for structural fabrication and welding activities across the project, including:
- Structural welding using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and SMAW (Stick Welding) processes.
- Fabricating, fitting and welding structural steel components in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and welding procedures.
- Completing structural welds to required quality standards and project specifications.
- Performing fit-up, alignment, fabrication and welding activities.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, weld procedures and fabrication requirements.
- Conducting visual inspections and ensuring welds meet required quality standards.
- Working safely and efficiently within a major construction environment.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity throughout all fabrication and welding activities.
