About the Role

YOU By Dr Shauna Watts is looking for an exceptional Cosmetic Nurse Injector to join our established medical and dermal team at Forresters Beach on the Central Coast. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced injector to lead and grow our cosmetic injectable service within a broader private women's health practice. This is not a high-volume treatment-room role. It is an opportunity to become a key member of the clinical team and help build something meaningful.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive cosmetic consultations, including suitability assessment, psychological screening and informed consent in accordance with current AHPRA requirements

- Deliver advanced cosmetic injectable treatments with a conservative, natural aesthetic

- Work closely with our medical practitioners regarding assessment, treatment planning and prescribing, with same-day on-site prescriber access

- Collaborate with our dermal team to develop integrated skin health and treatment plans

- Recognise and confidently manage complications and adverse events in accordance with established clinical protocols

- Build and retain a loyal patient base through excellent outcomes, follow-up and genuine long-term relationships

- Mentor and support members of the nursing team and contribute to high clinical standards across the practice

- Develop and maintain clinical protocols, documentation standards and the patient journey for the aesthetic service

- Contribute ideas and clinical expertise to the future direction of the service, including potential current treatment offerings





- Maintain compliance with AHPRA, TGA and NSW regulatory requirements, including cosmetic advertising obligations

About You

- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

- Minimum 4 years' experience as a cosmetic injector (Essential criteria)

- Advanced cosmetic injecting skills and comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy

- Formal, procedure-specific cosmetic training and current cosmetic CPD

- Demonstrated competence in recognising and managing cosmetic complications

- Eligibility to practise in accordance with the Guidelines for registered health practitioners who perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures, effective 2 September 2025

- Minimum one year's full-time general or specialist nursing practice prior to commencing cosmetic practice, as required under AHPRA Guidelines

- Current professional indemnity insurance appropriate to your scope of practice

- Sound understanding of AHPRA and TGA requirements relating to cosmetic practice and advertising

The current roster is:

- Monday: 8:30am – 3:00pm

- Tuesday: OFF

- Wednesday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

- Thursday: 11:00am – 7:00pm

- Friday: OFF

- Work Alternate Saturdays: 7:30am – 3:00pm **
