- About the position
Our Toowoomba team are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician / Electrician to join our close knit service team…. looking after our client base in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs Region.
Earning $60+ / hour you won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll be out in the field, thinking on your feet, and building compliant fire safety systems that save lives.

Position duties?
Fire Alarm Technicians / Electricians undertake the following duties:-
· Installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding on fire detection and fire protection systems across surface and underground infrastructure including, but not limited to, fire alarm detection systems, gas suppression systems and emergency warning systems.
· Interface testing between fire systems and other site systems (PLC, BMS, shutdown systems).
· Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/site policies and procedures.
· Ensure that all work aligns with contractual requirements and industry standards and is serviced to the highest standards.
· Complete service activities to guarantee timely and efficient completion of tasks.
· Maintain effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Proactively identify and resolve site issues, implementing solutions and improvements to enhance overall operations.
· Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
· Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
· Liaising with customers, establishing professional and friendly relationships
· Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
· Completing service records using smart device technology

About You?
To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:
· Fire industry experience
· Required QBCC Licencing or ability to obtain
· Current Driver’s Licence
· Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
· Excellent customer service and time management
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Valuable personal presentation
· Good computer/smart device technology skills
