A PROPER FIFO SET-UP, WITHOUT THE USUAL FINE PRINT

You will earn $65 per hour on a full-time contract, and work a consistent 2:1 roster, 6am to 6pm.

There is also a $50 per day meal allowance when you are not on a client site, plus a phone allowance. Good money, a solid set-up, and varied work across the Goldfields.

The small print is not actually that small: you need to know your volts from your bollocks.

This is commercial, industrial and mining electrical work, so the work has to be clean, compliant and safe. Site installs and upgrades. Testing. Fit-outs. Commercial services. Transportables. The kind of work where a sharp eye, safe hands and proper fault finding matter more than clever excuses.

You will join a Goldfields electrical team with a reputation for doing the job properly, using quality materials, communicating clearly and refusing to cut corners. That standard applies whether the work is a commercial installation, industrial fault find, site power or mining project.

What you will be doing

- Commercial electrical installations, upgrades and fit-outs
- Testing and commissioning electrical services and installations
- Electrical work on transportables and site infrastructure
- Fault finding,



maintenance and practical problem-solving
- Working safely across commercial, industrial and mining environments
- Keeping installations, test results and paperwork to a standard you would put your name to

This is not a role for someone who treats a cable tray as a suggestion, signs off before testing, or thinks “she’ll be right” is an electrical standard.

You will be trusted to work independently, make valuable calls and ensure every job is safe before it is handed over.

What you will need - Must be based in Western Australia

- An unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
- LVR
- First Aid and CPR
- A National Police Clearance, reasonably clean
- Australian citizenship
- A strong safety mindset and genuine pride in quality workmanship
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a small FIFO crew

An EWP ticket will give you extra voltage, but it is not essential.

The roster is generous. Your approach to isolations, testing and compliance cannot be.
