Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic People and Culture Advisor to support our team in delivering high-quality HR services across the organization. Reporting to People and Culture Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, employee engagement, HR systems management and assisting the team with compliance and other HR operational tasks, while delivering responsive advice and support to leaders and employees.

- Ability to manage competing priorities with high level organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities to support positive employee experience.
- Provide People & Culture advice and administrative support to employees and managers on employment-related matters, policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and workforce documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition and culture initiatives that promote an inclusive and positive workplace.
- Assist with performance, development, contract management and workforce administration processes.
- Monitor workforce compliance requirements and contribute to reporting, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality People & Culture services and support business objectives.
- Champion a strong workplace health and safety culture by promoting safe work practices, employee participation and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Diploma or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Hurman Resources, Recruitment or People and Culture role, preferably within disability or not-for-profit sectors
- Experience providing first-level HR advice, maintaining HR systems and employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, and supporting employee engagement or wellbeing initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in data/records management and HR information systems administration, with preferrable experience in using Employment Hero or similar HR systems
- Experience in modelling and encouraging safe behaviors and continuous improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
