Our valued State Government client, is seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join their North Queensland team based in Townsville. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administration professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role
Working closely with the Business Support Coordinator and Business Manager, you will assist with the management of work orders and projects across the North Queensland region, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service to QBuild customers and stakeholders.
- Support the management and administration of work orders and project activities.
- Maintain accurate records and information within systems such as Ellipse and Microsoft Office.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, documents and other administrative materials with a high level of accuracy.
- Respond to enquiries and provide support to senior staff, including during periods of absence.
- Develop, maintain and improve procedures, manuals and registers.
- Undertake general administrative and business support functions as required.
- Work effectively within a team setting while meeting performance targets and KPIs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Previous administration or business support experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, team-focused approach to work.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current clear driver's licence.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel.
- High level of attention to detail.
