About the Role
Are you an organised administrative superstar who loves keeping things moving, juggling priorities and being part of a busy, collaborative team?
We’re looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join our People & Culture team on a 6-month full-time contract.
This is a hands-on administrative role supporting our recruitment function and project teams across the business. You’ll play an important part in keeping our recruitment processes organised, candidates informed and hiring activities moving from application through to onboarding.
You don’t need to be an experienced recruiter. We’re looking for someone with strong administration skills, exceptional attention to detail and a proactive attitude who is keen to build their experience within Talent Acquisition and People & Culture.
You’ll be the engine room behind the recruitment process, coordinating multiple activities,
staying across the detail and helping us deliver a great experience for candidates and hiring managers.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing Australian business, gain exposure to recruitment across the mining, oil & gas and resources sectors, and make a genuine contribution from day one.
Most importantly, you’ll join a team that is collaborative, supportive and genuinely values its people.
With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you’ll contribute by:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support across the recruitment process.
- Managing the Talent inbox and candidate communications, ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
- Posting and maintaining job advertisements across multiple platforms.
- Coordinating interviews, meetings and candidate appointments.
- Assisting with reference checks and pre-employment requirements.
- Preparing recruitment documentation and offers of employment.
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Updating and supporting recruitment systems and platforms, including ELMO and MyPass.
- Supporting the Talent team with general administration and recruitment activities as required.
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
- Previous experience in an administration, coordination or support role.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail and confidence working with systems, records and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and engaging approach when communicating with candidates and stakeholders.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems and technology.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
- Previous exposure to recruitment, HR or an ATS would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.
Why Join Us?
- Join a collaborative and supportive People & Culture team within a growing Australian business.
- Build valuable experience in recruitment and Talent Acquisition.
- Gain exposure to major projects across the mining, oil & gas and resources sectors.
- Make a meaningful contribution in a role where your work has a visible impact.
- Access an online benefits platform with discounts across major retailers.
- Employee Assistance and Peer Support Programs.
- Reward and recognition programs.
- Enjoy an additional day of leave to celebrate your birthday.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have unrestricted Australian work rights. Applications close on Friday, 28th August. We’d love to hear from you. Apply now!
The Global Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values the diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives of our people. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
