Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).

What you'll be doing
Provision of clinical support and oversight of the sexual health, HIV and Viral Hepatitis clinical services.

This position is responsible for providing high-level, patient-centred, evidence-based clinical nursing care and is expected to embrace and lead a practice development philosophy in the delivery of that care. This is achieved under the provision of five (5) domains, those being clinical service and consultancy, clinical leadership, education, research, and clinical services planning & management.

About You
You are an accomplished Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and extensive postgraduate experience in HIV and Sexual Health nursing. With advanced clinical knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based practice, you provide high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting positive health outcomes for individuals and communities affected by HIV and sexual health conditions.

You are recognised for your ability to work autonomously, think critically and make timely, informed clinical decisions in complex and dynamic healthcare environments. Your strong clinical expertise enables you to lead and influence the development of best-practice care, applying current research and specialist knowledge to enhance clinical services and improve patient outcomes. You are also committed to capacity building and practice development, supporting the growth of individuals,



teams and services through mentorship, education and professional guidance.

With excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, you effectively engage with patients, colleagues, students and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. You are confident providing consultancy and clinical support to nurses, midwives, medical practitioners and multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across healthcare settings. Highly organised and adaptable, you manage competing priorities with professionalism and efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on quality care, service improvement and clinical excellence. Holding a current Class C driver's licence, you are willing and able to travel to support service delivery across a range of locations as required.
