Hays Specialist Recruitment is currently seeking applications from experienced and hands-on labourers to work within a local government Infrastructure Maintenance division. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia's second-largest local government and one of our city's largest organisations.
Your new role
Based within the Signs and Lines crews, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Installation of signage in compliance with Austroads manual
- Installation of road and pavement line marking
- Removing any objects that block Council signage
- Set-up of worksite to comply with Austroads manual
- Completion of risk assessments and compliance with the City's Safe Work Methods Statements
What you will need to succeed
You will be a positive communicator who has excellent interpersonal skills in team environments. Mandatory requirements include:
- Construction white card
- MR licence (mandatory)
- 6-8 months experience labouring
What you will get in return
Monday-Friday role, 9-day fortnight. In return, you will receive a competitive remuneration. You will have one dedicated Hays consultant who will work closely with you throughout your assignment and liaise with you for any future opportunities or availability.
