The Yard Gym Newstead is looking for a warm, friendly and reliable Childminder to join the team and look after members' children while they train. The creche is a welcoming space where parents can train knowing their children are being well cared for. This is a morning role for 9:30am sessions, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start, suited to someone who enjoys working with children and wants to keep their afternoons free.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising and engaging with members' children
- Creating a safe, calm and welcoming environment
- Building positive relationships with children and parents
- Keeping the creche clean, organised and safe
- Providing a warm and professional experience for members
- Working as part of the wider Yard Gym team
About you
- Warm, friendly and naturally good with children
- Reliable and punctual
- Responsible and attentive
- Professional and well presented
- Confident and comfortable caring for children independently
- Genuinely enjoys interacting with children
- Holds a current Blue Card — essential
- Has previous experience working with or caring for children
- Previous experience in childcare, childminding, babysitting, education or a similar role will be highly regarded
