The Careers Department is looking for a Creative Events Producer to join our Sydney team on a contract through till the end of 2026.

We have a busy few months ahead, with a series of events, activations and experiences bringing together students, schools, employers.

We’re looking for someone who can own an event from the first idea through to the final run sheet and delivery on the day.

This is not just an event coordination role. We want someone who is creative, highly organised and obsessed with the details. This means someone who can come up with a great concept and then make sure every element of it actually happens.

We’re looking for someone who can come in, hit the ground running and become the creative and operational owner of our events program for the remainder of the year.

There will also be some travel for events and activations.

The role

You’ll work across the full event lifecycle, including:

· Creative ideation — developing event concepts, themes, experiences and activations

· Turning ideas into clear event plans, timelines and budgets

· Venue sourcing and management

· Supplier sourcing, briefing and coordination

· Developing event collateral, signage, gifting and physical touchpoints

· Working with our internal design and content teams to bring concepts to life

· Speaker, partner and stakeholder coordination





· Managing guest lists, invitations and event communications

· Creating detailed production schedules and run sheets

· Managing bump-in, event delivery and bump-out

· Being the person who notices the small things before anyone else does

· Making sure the finished event feels considered, creative and exceptionally well executed

About you

You might come from an events agency, experiential agency, creative production studio, brand activation team or similar workplace.

More importantly, you’re someone who:

Has strong creative instincts and loves coming up with new ideas

Can take an idea and independently turn it into reality

Has exceptional attention to detail

Is extremely organised and comfortable managing multiple events at once

Is confident managing suppliers, venues, talent and stakeholders

Can work quickly without compromising quality

Is practical and hands-on — you’re happy working on a concept deck one minute and checking signage placement the next

Stays calm when plans inevitably change

Has high standards for how things look, feel and run

Takes real ownership of the end result
