Who’s hiring?

The City of Burnside is seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join our Innovation and Technology team. In this impactful role, you will lead the delivery of digital transformation, business improvement and innovation initiatives that support our organisation and community. From modernising business systems and implementing new digital solutions to exploring AI and emerging technologies, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful outcomes across Council.

So, what’s the role?

Reporting to the Team Leader Innovation and Technology, you will:

- Coordinate and deliver ICT, digital transformation and innovation projects from initiation through to implementation.

- Lead software implementation, upgrade and business system modernisation projects.

- Manage vendors, stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve successful project outcomes.

- Facilitate testing,



training and change management activities for new technologies.

- Support the delivery of digital transformation, business improvement, AI and business systems modernisation initiatives.

- Provide expert advice on business systems configuration, improvements and optimisation.

- Contribute to the support and enhancement of Council's corporate applications and digital services.

You are a skilled project professional with a strong understanding of ICT systems and business improvement. You can communicate complex technical concepts in a way that stakeholders understand and are confident managing competing priorities in a dynamic workplace.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information and Communication Technology.

- Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects and business system implementations.

- Experience with SaaS platforms, system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.

- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, server environments and SQL databases.

- Strong stakeholder engagement, business analysis and change management capabilities.

- Understanding of AI, automation and emerging technologies.





- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.

The position is on a full-time, classified at Level 7 plus 12% superannuation under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.
