Senior Change Manager – Enterprise Transformation

Brisbane | 12 Month Contract | $190K–$210K + Super

We are partnering with a leading not-for-profit organisation entering a significant period of transformation across its corporate functions.

With multiple initiatives underway across HR, Finance, systems implementation and workplace transformation, they are seeking an exceptional Senior Change Manager to provide an organisation-wide view of change and ensure these initiatives are effectively sequenced, coordinated and embedded.

This is not a traditional single-project Change Manager role.

There are already experienced Transformation Leads and project teams responsible for individual initiatives. Your role will be to connect the dots across the entire change portfolio — understanding what is changing, when it is changing, who will be impacted and how the organisation can successfully absorb that change.

The Opportunity

You will quickly get across a broad and evolving portfolio of transformation activity and establish a explicit picture of the organisation’s overall change journey.

Working closely with Transformation Leads, Project Managers, senior executives and functional leaders, you will develop the integrated timelines, forward view and organisational change roadmap required to successfully navigate multiple concurrent initiatives.

A critical part of the role will be looking ahead.

You will need to anticipate upcoming impacts, identify where programs and timelines intersect, understand potential change saturation and provide leaders with confidence around what is coming next and how the organisation should prepare for it.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

- Build a comprehensive view of transformation and change activity occurring across the organisation

- Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide change roadmap and integrated change calendar

- Work closely with Transformation Leads across HR, Finance and other corporate functions

- Forecast upcoming change activity and organisational impacts

- Identify dependencies, overlaps and conflicts between transformation initiatives

- Assess the cumulative impact of change across teams and stakeholder groups

- Identify periods of potential change saturation and recommend appropriate sequencing

- Establish realistic timelines across competing projects and initiatives

- Provide senior leaders with clear visibility of upcoming organisational change

- Ensure communications, engagement, training and readiness activities are effectively coordinated

- Challenge project sequencing or timelines where organisational readiness may be compromised

- Support Transformation Leads in aligning individual change approaches with the broader organisational journey

- Establish appropriate change governance, reporting and visibility

- Provide clear advice on change risk, readiness, adoption and organisational capacity

- Ensure transformation outcomes are successfully embedded into business-as-usual operations

About You

We are looking for a highly capable and commercially minded change professional who can quickly understand a complex environment and bring clarity to it.

You will ideally bring:

- Extensive experience delivering complex organisational transformation

- Demonstrated experience operating across multiple concurrent change programs or enterprise-wide transformation portfolios

- Strong experience with major systems, process, people or operating model transformation

- The ability to rapidly understand complex projects and identify relationships between different workstreams

- Strong capability in change forecasting,

sequencing, impact assessment and organisational readiness

- Experience developing integrated change roadmaps and forward change plans

- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability

- Confidence working directly with senior executives and experienced Transformation Leads

- The ability to challenge priorities and timelines constructively

- Strong judgement and the ability to simplify complex information for senior stakeholders

- A structured and disciplined approach combined with the flexibility to operate in a changing environment

- Excellent communication, facilitation and engagement skills

Experience within not-for-profit, healthcare, community services, government or another large and complex organisation will be highly regarded.

Formal qualifications or methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR will be viewed favourably, although demonstrated success leading complex organisational change will be more important.

Why This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to sit across a broad portfolio of transformation and play a critical role in shaping how an organisation navigates a significant period of change.

Rather than owning a single project, you will provide the enterprise-wide perspective — helping the organisation understand how its various transformation initiatives come together and ensuring leaders and employees are taken on the journey.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to make a genuine organisation-wide impact and bring clarity, foresight and coordination to a highly visible transformation agenda.
