Blake Machinery Group (BMG) is a large family-owned business specialising in the dry hire of high quality, late model earthmoving equipment to the mining, construction and energy sectors.
BMG is currently looking for experienced diesel fitters to assist in maintaining a large and diverse fleet of earthmoving equipment from it's head office on the Sunshine Coast QLD.
Key duties:
- Scheduled maintenance, breakdown and repairs of earthmoving equipment, including loaders, dozers, dump trucks, compactors, rollers and excavators. Brands primarily consist of CAT, Komatsu and Volvo
- Fault diagnosis and trouble shooting
- Complete and maintain accurate equipment service records
- Primarily based at our main workshop in Forest Glen, but travel to site for servicing and breakdowns also required
Essential skills:
- Proven HD mechanical servicing,
breakdown and fault finding/diagnostic experience on a range of earthmoving equipment (experience with CAT, Volvo and Komatsu preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong commitment towards protected work practices
- Proven problem-solving ability, strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Heavy Diesel/Duty trade qualification or equivalent
- Driver's license (HR preferred)
