About the role

Venn Financial Group is a quick-growing, client-focused, innovative financial services firm working with individuals, families, and small to medium businesses across various industries all over Australia.

Due to our expansion, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our firm's culture and client relationships.

As such, now is a perfect time to join our team and enjoy a role offering variety across taxation and compliance, business advisory services, and self-managed superannuation fund services.

Working directly alongside the Manager and Partner, this full-time permanent role will involve:
Preparation of Activity Statements, Tax Returns, including FBT returns, and Financial Statements for a broad range of clients.
Preparation of QBCC Financial Statements.
Real client contact, including building strong client relationships
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of ad hoc business advisory matters.
Other accounting duties as required.

Salary range of $95,000-$120,000 + work phone

3pm finishes on Fridays

A level of autonomy that is rare at this level, and no micro-management, because good people can manage themselves.

Experience and qualifications
CPA/CA qualified or working towards it.
3+ years of Public Practice experience and a solid understanding of tax and compliance.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a qualified attitude.
Strong time management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage your own workload and adapt to changing circumstances, whilst maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines.
Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a current, valid Australian work visa - English proficiency is a must.
