We are seeking a skilled, compassionate and patient-focussed Registered Nurse to join our team at Camden Haven Medical Centre in Laurieton, NSW in a full time or part-time capacity.
This position would suit an experienced GP Practice Nurse or a Registered Nurse wishing to move into primary care from the hospital setting.
Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in a wide variety of clinical tasks including, but not limited to:
Administering immunisations and injections
Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations
Supporting GP's with minor surgical procedures
Maintaining accurate patient clinical data
Wound care, including dressings and suture removal
Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes
Stock management and ordering
Equiment sterilisation and infection control management
What we're looking for
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous general practice experience or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role
Robust clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
